There are many activities to choose from for the opportunity to earn belt loops and work toward your rank’s Outdoor Awards. But mostly, it’s about having fun!

Fishing
Hiking
T-shirt painting with Animal Tracks
If raining, additional activities may include:
Rain Gutter Regatta…Paper Airplane Derby…Battle of the Dens Pictionary
Also, Indian Village offers a Bow and Arrow program for ages 8 and up. Advance registration and fee required – see registration form for details. This is an opportunity to earn a belt loop or brush up on your skills!
Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast will be provided. Lunch on Saturday is not provided.
Snacks!
Hot chocolate, Kool-Aid and coffee will be available at all times. Also, we will create our own GORP! (Good Ol’ Raisins and Pretzels). Please bring a box or bag of a bite-sized food and we will mix it all together for everyone to snack on all afternoon. Examples: Pretzels, Goldfish, Cheeze-Its, Chex or other cereal, M & M’s, raisins, dried fruit, etc. Please NO PEANUTS!

Gather around the campfire for fun den skits, stories and s’mores! This is also an opportunity to retire your American Flag. Please advise if you have a flag you would like to include in the retirement ceremony.
Grab some breakfast, join in our Vespers service and circle up for a rousing group song to wrap up the campout.

$10 per person with a maximum of $40 per family. Scouts are free. The Bow and Arrow program fee is $5. Advance registration required.
Tent, tarp/ground cloth, sleeping bag & pillow, sleeping pad/mattress, hiking boots, personal items including toothbrush and toothpaste, flashlights, binoculars(optional), weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen, bug spray, raingear? fishing gear (optional). A fishing license is required for 14 years and older. Indian Village does provide flush toilets and an indoor facility in the event of inclement weather.
Boy Scouts will join us for the campout to assist in running many of the activities. This gives our scouts an opportunity to meet with Boy Scouts and learn about the next step in scouting.
Although this is an optional Pack event, we strongly encourage all scouts and families to join us. Please mail in (or submit at pack meeting) your registration form with camp fee by April 14th. This will ensure we order enough food. Please check out the weather forecast and pack accordingly. The campout is rain or shine.
Indian Village is located at 3200 Indian Village Drive approximately 5 miles east of the CLC. From the CLC, turn right onto Scioto Darby Road. Take Scioto Darby east until it turns into Dublin Road. Go 0.8 miles; turn right onto Thoburn Road, then right onto Indian Village Road.
